Some weddings are filled with grand gestures, and some are all about the heartfelt, candid moments that make a love story come to life. Ealilan and Oceane’s wedding at Highley Manor was the perfect mix of both—romantic, fun, and completely them. From emotional vows to infectious dance floor energy, their wedding was a true reflection of their love story, and I was honoured to capture every moment.

Getting Ready – The Calm Before the Celebration

With both Oceane and Ealilan getting ready at Highley Manor, the excitement started early. Oceane’s room was full of laughter, last-minute touches, and little moments of calm before the big walk down the aisle. Across the venue, Ealilan was surrounded by his wedding party, and while there was plenty of fun, you could see the excitement (and maybe just a tiny bit of nerves!).

Their love for nature and beautiful views came through from the start—Highley Manor’s stunning countryside setting was the perfect place for them to say, “I do.”

A Ceremony to Remember

At 2 PM, the magic began. Their ceremony was deeply personal, as they exchanged vows in front of 50 of their closest friends and family. The mix of languages between Oceane’s French-speaking family and Ealilan’s mostly English-speaking guests made the day even more special. But love doesn’t need translation—the emotions on their faces said it all.

And in true Ealilan & Oceane style, there was a competitive twist—who was going to get through their vows without getting emotional first? (Spoiler: emotions won, and that made it even more beautiful!).

The Reception – Good Food, Good Speeches, and Even Better Memories

With their love for good food and views, the wedding breakfast at 4:20 PM was one of their favorite moments of the day. They had carefully planned every detail, ensuring the food was just right for a day that truly represented them.

As speeches began around 5 PM, there was plenty of laughter, happy tears, and a few stories from over the years that had the whole room smiling. Capturing these genuine, heartfelt, and hilarious moments is one of my favorite parts of filming weddings—it’s the raw emotions and connections that make a wedding film truly come to life.

Dancing, Celebrations & The Best Party Vibes

By 7 PM, 100 guests had joined the celebrations, and it was time to party! And when I say party, I mean 90’s RnB, 00’s pop, and a mix of Tamil and alternative beats filling the dance floor. Seeing everyone let loose and celebrate the newlyweds was incredible.

Oceane and Ealilan are known for their competitive streak—whether it’s video games, sports, or just deciding who wins in a casual debate—so naturally, there were some dance-offs involved too! Every moment felt so them, which made filming this wedding even more special.

Looking Back – The Moments That Matter

When I asked what they’d love to relive in 5 or 10 years, they said:
💖 Candid moments—because we’re both so expressive, our faces will say it all!
📸 A few ‘oh dang, we looked good’ moments (trust me, you did!).

That’s exactly what we captured—the laughter, the reactions, the moments where time stood still, and the ones where it felt like the party would never end.
